Pipeline first, the agreed success measure second, what was learned third, and activity last. Activity belongs in the report because you are paying for it, but placing it first makes effort look like progress.
If the first page is a list of deliverables completed, the reporting has drifted.
Every metric needs a comparison point — prior period, baseline, or target.
Negative findings should appear without being asked for.
